I know you guys are eager to get opinions on your forums from other members. Before posting to this board, please read through the following guidelines as they may help you with your post and get you the results you are looking for.
Requesting Opinions
* Create a new thread with the title of your forum.
* Be sure to detail, in your post, what it is you are wanting feedback on. This could be anything from design to content and everything in between. The more detailed you are about what you are looking for, the better results you will get from our members who reply to your post.
* To ensure maximum potential, you will want to make sure that your forum is visible to guests. This means all boards can be accessed, not necessarily posted in. Members will not want to join your forum, simply to give you their opinion.
* This is not a board to ask for members or staff.
Responding Guide
* When writing to a member, be sure to address each thing they are looking for feedback on individually. Be as detailed as possible and try to write in complete sentences.
* If you are detailed in your response, members will have a better idea of what you are looking for, what you like, what you would change etc. This means it will be easier for them to make changes based on feedback provided.
* Be courteous to the user you are responding to. There is no reason to down talk a member or their forum. If there is something you do not like about the forum, or something you would change, tell them and explain in detail what it is and why. Do this without being rude and inconsiderate.
Guidelines for Both Parties
* The easiest way to get responses is to be sure you do the same for other members. You cannot expect to get feedback if you are never giving feedback to other members forums.
* If you receive feedback, be sure to thank the person and if you have any questions in response to their feed back quote them and ask them your questions. This is the proper way to go about making your forum better for all ProBoards users.
